Sue was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, where she met and married Jack Bolton and had 2 sons, Stephen and David. Sue later met and married Mike Powell and they settled in Lytham St Annes. 

Mother in law to Valerie and Joanne, and grandmama to Rachael and Hollie, Emily and Jemima.

Sister to Derek and John, sister in law to Mo, Pat, Kathy and Marlene. Auntie to Paula, Diane, Joanne, Karen, Elaine and Lynne.

Sue worked for many years at the Civil Service in Blackpool, before retiring and enjoying family time, travelling and spending time in the Middle East with Mike. 

Her family have fond memories of Sue as a feisty, proud, glamorous and brave lady, who courageously endured both a brain tumour and liver transplant.

Sue lived with Dementia for several years at home, before eventually being cared for by the wonderful staff at the MHA care homes in both Blackpool and latterly Chapelfields in Frodsham, where she passed away peacefully on 26th April 2020.
